Wacona Robotics team members Cody G. and Cason Z. recently won first place in their division, Robotics, at the District Technology Fair held in Blackshear, Georgia. They will move on to the state competition in March to be held in Macon, Georgia. Cody and Cason autonomously programmed their robot to do a variety of tasks. They showed the judges how they programmed the robot using ModKit Blockly. Principal John Chancey and Mrs. Michele Yaun, team advisor, assisted  Cody and Cason as they learned how to code using Blockly. They are so excited to be competing at the state level! Wacona Elementary wishes these young hornets the best of luck at state! John Chancey is the principal of Wacona Elementary.
